i'm the fence that links all these ideas together

a picket fence with gaping holes

weakening bones from getting old
and i would swear on where i'm told, but i was raised always half-mast, and now:

maybe they'll grow up tall like trees
maybe exactly what i need is to get as far away from what i see as it is possible to be.
